Qasim, our composer for TCK, arrived into town last night. He'll be here for a couple of days to go thru the movie with us and figure out what we're going to do with the soundtrack.
In the meantime I'm fighting the global war on terror. I downloaded America's Army, an advanced military simulation shoot-em-up that the US Army designed as a recruiting tool. It's freeware, too. You can download the whole game off the website and it's a multiplayer online game so you can play with others over the internet. It's kind of like the movie The Last Starfighter, in that there is this arcade game that is actually a secret method of recruitment put on by a group of besieged aliens who are looking for someone who can lead their armies to victory. Though I haven't read it, the book Ender's Game I think has a similar theme.
