Reel Paradise
The Piersons are the subject of a new documentary by Steve James called Reel Paradise. The film chronicles one family's journey to Fiji to operate the world's most remote movie theater. It's an excellent portrait of an avid film lover, and a family that immerses itself whole-heartedly into a completely foreign environment. I think it's a wonderful look at a passionate and intelligent family life. Definately worth checking out -- it's playing at the Dobie.
