The Night Before
This week has been filled with a mixture of euphoria, meloncholy, anxiety and revelation -- not all of it tied to this crazy Spirit Award thing. But tomorrow my goal is to relax and enjoy the sights and sounds of a Hollywood spectacle. I've got some nice clothes, some stylin shoes, a dorky haircut and the knowledge that we are VUPs -- very unimportant people. We'll get the swag bag with the keychain in it, but that's great, it'll be a lot of fun.
Tonight we watched Constantine, that new flick with Keanu in it. I thought it was going to be absolutely horrible, but actually it was only moderately horrible and so I found ways to enjoy it. But it's really bad and the plot is overly byzantine. Before the movie we saw a trailer for Linklater's A Scanner Darkly. It looks great and I can't wait to see it.
